Francophile

I've been bombarded by all things French as of late, and I'm not complaining one bit. First there was word that Colette, one of the "it" boutiques in Paris, is coming to NYC via a pop-up store collab with the Gap. The pop up store will be located next to the Gap's flagship on 5th Ave & 54th Street and now has a website, which I hope will be updated with more information as September 6th approaches.

Then, last night I watched A Woman is A Woman, a film by Jean-Luc Godard, staring the adorable Anna Karina. Karina plays Angela, an exotic dancer who is desperate to have a baby, but her current boyfriend refuses, so she decides to have one with his best friend instead. This movie was seen as Godard's take on the American musical, and it's light hearted, comedic, and fun.

Last, I've just discovered Garance Dore, the fabulous French fashion blog, and it makes me wonder if every woman in France is born naturally stylish.

Ooo la la!
